However, I often like to sneak in through the back door. So I’m going to reveal to you some of my Google secrets. After you look closely, you will find that there is much more to Google than meets the eye and I want you to take advantage of every resource. So, let’s look behind the scenes into Google’s lab.

With Adsense, the page was not giving any information on shape of glasses, the page dealt in generalities. When you are searching for information and you have time constraints, you do not want to be clicking AdSense pages. It was for this reason that latent semantic Google Indexing service began to be used in the mega search engines.

I’m not trying to steer you away from social media. I only think you should have an open perspective if you choose to go this route. Social traffic requires you to constantly update your information to have the possibility of being seen. Even this does not ensure that your post will generate traffic. Every time someone else makes a post yours is in turn moved further down the line of posts until it is gone completely.

The most straightforward way to get your website listed in Google is to submit your URL to Google. When you submit to Google directly, you only need to give them your home page URL. Their crawler will find the rest of your web pages. Google adds new sites and updates their list regularly. However, not all submitted URLs are added to their index. Another thing is that even if it were to be included in the Google index, there’s no telling how long it will take for your site to appear there.

An interesting feature available on Enhance, which is not available on Google Indexing service, is a feature called ‘LogoLink’ where you can upload an 80×40 pixel image that’s no larger than 8KB in size. Animation is not accepted. This image will then be displayed alongside your PPC ad. Very cool. Feedback from users who use this feature is positive.

The relative importance of pages on your site. For example, your home page might have a relative importance of 1.0, category pages have an importance of 0.8, and individual blog entries or other pages have an importance of 0.5. This priority only indicates the importance of a particular URL relative to other URLs on your site, and doesn’t impact the ranking of your pages in search results.

Nowadays, most of the people use WordPress or Joomla to create and maintain their websites. To install these features to one’s website you should have mysql database. Even though most of the hosting plans offer database, it’s better to check while selecting the plan.
